Iranian documentary ‘Light, Shadow, Life’ has received an honorary award at the International Slavonic Film Festival Zolotoy Vityaz in Russia.
According to Iranian Youth Cinema Society, Shahriar Pourseyyedian’s documentary received an honorary diploma at the 2019 edition of the Russian festival.
‘Light, Shadow, Life’ depicts the life of an intellectually disabled young man living with his artist father who has invented a custom learning technique catered to him.
The documentary has attended the 14th Sole Luna Doc Film Festival in Italy and the 13th Kazan International Festival of Muslim Cinema in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The winners of the International Slavonic Film Festival Zolotoy Vityaz were reportedly announced during a ceremony in the city of Sevastopol on May 31.
